Meet the Dover Area Business Association

Being engaged with our local business community is vital to the operational and planning needs of our municipality. The health & economic growth of our businesses directly enhances our residents’ options in searching for employment, entertainment or eatery locations, recreational or leisure opportunities, or obtaining everyday supplies needed to run their households. Ultimately, the success of our businesses directly enhances the quality of life of our residents and enhances our tax base while providing productive services to our residents.

Joining DABA has allowed me to network with fellow local business owners, and to gain enhanced community insight to better understand the customers that we serve. It’s also very helpful that serval members are affiliated with local governing bodies that that help shape the community in which my business serves.

Being part of DABA has been a great joy! Dover is a gem of a community and we want to help her shine! The presentations during our bi-monthly meetings have been extremely educational regarding happenings in the community, i.e., Eagle View Park, storm water updates, Dover Area School District and many others. I have enjoyed getting to know folks from other businesses, and uncovering how we can best serve the community of Dover, together.
